Case 7 – Breast Lift

A desire to improve her shape is what prompted this 39-year-old woman to seek a breast lift or mastopexy. Two children had resulted in significant ptosis or droopiness, and while she wanted improvement in her shape, she was not really interested in an implant. Therefore, a breast lift was the right operation for her.

Breast Lift Results

Dr. Pin sees many patients at our practice who have developed significant drooping of the breasts due to pregnancy, weight loss, and the aging process. Some of our patients have retained their breast volume and shape, but the breast tissue and nipple sags below the fold of the breast. These patients are good candidates for breast lift surgery. Other patients have ptosis and have lost breast tissue over the years, making the breasts look deflated. In these cases, the patient is probably a better candidate for the breast augmentation and lift procedures, rather than just a breast lift.

If you are unhappy the appearance of your breasts, schedule a consultation with Dr. Pin to find out if you are a good candidate for plastic surgery. Dr. Pin can advise you of the treatment options that will best suit your cosmetic preferences and body type, and go over the side effects, recovery, and costs associated with each procedure.
