Case 1 – Breast Implant Revision
This 41 year old had undergone an augmentation previously with 275 cc saline implants. Her desire was to be bigger and to switch to silicone implants. She was 5’6″, 120 pounds and wore a B cup bra. She underwent a revision with 425 cc implants and is now a small D cup.
Case 2 – Breast Implant Revision
This 24 year old had undergone augmentation 6 years before due to underlying asymmetry. At that time, a 270cc saline implant was placed on the right and a 180cc implant on the left. She desired revision to treat her right-sided contracture and to be slightly larger. Therefore she had 304cc silicone implant placed on her right and a 234 cc silicone implant on the left.
Case 3 – Breast Implant Revision
This 47 year old was 5’6″, weighed 112 pounds, and desired revision of her contracted, 225 cc silicone implants, which had been placed 23 years previously. As she wanted more fullness, she received 339 cc silicone implants, which made her a 34C.
Case 4 – Breast Implant Revision
This 48-year-old woman had a breast augmentation with silicone and desired a revision. She had bilateral capsular contracture and radiographic evidence of implant rupture. She underwent implant removal and replacement with 286 cc silicone implants.
Case 5 – Breast Implant Revision – Saline to Silicone
This 36 year old woman was 5’7″ and weighed 121 pounds. She had previously had an augmentation with 390 cc saline implants and wanted to be slightly larger and change to silicone. She underwent a revision with 475cc silicone implants is now a 36D.
Case 6 – Breast Implant Revision
This 38-year-old woman had an augmentation with 440 cc saline implants and was a D cup. Although she liked her shape, she felt she was much too big for her small frame. She had her implants replaced with 304 cc silcone gel implants and is now happier with her C cup breasts that were achieved without losing her shape.
Case 7 – Breast Implant Revision
This 52-year-old woman had breast implants placed in the remote past. They had become extremely firm and uncomfortable and she desired revision. Her old implants were replaced with new silicone gel implants, and she is please with her improved shape and softness.
Case 8 – Breast Implant Revision
This 44 year old was 5’8″ and weighed 135 pounds. She had had a previous sub-glandular breast augmentation 20 years ago with 210 cc silicone implants that were now ruptured. She desired to have a revision with slightly larger implants and therefore received 371 cc silicone implants in a sub-pectoral position.
Case 9 – Breast Implant Revision
This 53 year old had breast augmentation with 220cc silicone implants. These sub-glandular implants were broken and she desired revision. As she wanted to remain about the same size, 286 cc silicone implants were placed sub-pectorally.
Case 10 – Breast Implant Revision
Five years after a breast augmentation with saline, this 49 year old had a sudden right side deflation. She was 5’5″, 115 pounds, and underwent replacement with 339cc silicone implants in a sub muscular position.
Case 11 – Breast Implant Revision
This 42 year old had deflated saline implants and was droopy. She therefore had a single stage augmentation mastopexy with 304cc silicone implants.
Case 12 – Breast Implant Revision
This 42 year old had an augmentation with silicone 24 years before, and her implants were now broken and she desired revision. She was 5’6″ 122 pounds, wore a 34B and wanted to be slightly bigger. At time of surgery, it was obvious were native breasts were asymmetric, therefore she received a 371 cc implant on the right and a 265 cc implant on the left, which made her a small C cup.
Case 13 – Breast Implant Revision
This 36 year old was 5’5″ and 125 pounds. She previously had 270cc saline implants, and felt her left implant was too high and wanted to be larger. She therefore had 400cc silicone implants placed, which increased her cup size to a full D.
Case 14 – Breast Implant Revision
This 39 year old woman was 5’6″ and weighed 140 pounds. She had previously had an augmentation with 390 cc saline implants and wanted to be slightly larger and change to silicone. She received 533 cc silicone implants and is now a 36D.
Case 15 – Breast Implant Revision
This 22 year old desired an augmentation revision. She was 5’4″, weighed 127 pounds, had 440 cc saline implants and wanted to be smaller. She had her saline implants replaced with 339 cc silicone implants and additionally, had a periareolar mastpexy to allow her skin to redrape.
Case 16 – Breast Implant Revision
This 49 year old had previously undergone an augmentation with 360 cc saline implants 15 years ago. She now desired a revision with silicone implants. At surgery, 425 cc silicone implants were placed.
Case 17 – Breast Implant Revision
This 35 year old desired revision of her deflated saline implants, which she felt were too large. She was 5’5″, weighed 125 pounds, and had 550 cc saline implants, which made her a 34DD bra. Her revision consisted of removing her implants and replacing them with 450cc silicone implants.
Case 18 – Breast Implant Revision
This 38 year old desired revision of her deflated saline implants. She was 5’3″, weighed 125 pounds, and had 300cc saline implants. Since she wanted to be larger, she received 450cc silicone implants, which made her a small D cup.
Case 19 – Breast Implant Revision
This 49-year-old woman had a breast augmentation with silicone 17 years before and desired a revision. She was 5’0″ and weighed 95 pounds. She had bilateral capsular contracture and radiographic evidence of implant rupture. She underwent implant removal and replacement with 371 cc silicone implants.
Case 20 – Breast Implant Revision
This 22 year old desired a revision of her augmentation because she wanted to be smaller. She was 5’7″, weighed 127 pounds, and had 304 cc silicone implants that she felt were too big. She underwent removal and replacement of her implants with low-profile, 180 cc silicone implants. She also had a reduction in the size of her areolae.
Case 21 – Breast Implant Revision with Nipple Repair
This 45 year old had a sub-glandular augmentation with silicone 25 years ago. She desired a revision to treat her bilateral contractures. She wanted to be slightly larger and wanted her implants submuscular. Additionally, she wanted her nipple projection reduced.
Case 22 – Breast Implant Revision – Saline to Silicone
This 67year old woman was 5’5″ and weighed 134 pounds. She had previously had an augmentation with 300 cc saline implants and wanted to be slightly smaller and change to silicone. She underwent revision with 234 cc silicone implants and reduced her cup size from a small D to a large B.
Case 23 – Breast Implant Revision
This 37 year old wanted to reduce the size of her implants and have a lift in one procedure. She was 5’9”, weighed 135 pounds, and had 550cc saline implants. She underwent implant replacement with 371cc moderate-profile silicone implants and a full mastopexy. Her scars are only 4 months old and should improve over the next year.
Case 24 – Breast Implant Revision
This 41 year old had become a marathon runner since her augmentation twenty years ago, and there for wanted to have smaller breast implants. She was 5’10”, weighed 130 pounds and wore a small D cup. Her 475 cc saline implants were exchanged for 371 cc silicone implants which reduced her a full cup size.
